DayZ, the super popular Steam Early Access zombie survival game, is aiming for a final release in the first half of 2016.
Bohemia Interactive released a development roadmap for the game, scheduling several major additions before it hits beta in the fourth quarter of 2015. Many of the features have been hinted at through the recent influx of updates from the development team that we’ve covered. Of them, there are several that are notable: vehicles, new zombie behaviors, stealth system, diseases, new user-interface, traps, aerial transport, animal companions, and base building.
As part of the recent changes and its march toward final release, the game’s price has increased to $35. It will keep increasing until it hits its full $50 price.
According to the schedule, Bohemia Interactive will have a prototype of the game for consoles in the third quarter of 2015.
Last month, DayZ got its first working vehicle with a few technical caveats.
